Activities

For eight weeks during the summer, Monteagle Assembly is abuzz with activities designed to educate and inspire.  In addition to lectures, classes, and activities for adults, the Assembly offers a youth program for children ages 3-18 that includes outdoor excursions, movies, arts and crafts, and tennis.

We treasure our history and traditions, and it is important to us that visitors come here with an understanding of our purpose and a desire to participate in our program.

There are so many activities in which you can participate, one has a hard time attending all of them. Religious activities are a focal point of Assembly life. Weekly Sunday Services at 11:00 A.M. and week-day Twilight Prayers at 7:30 P.M. are held in Warren Chapel. Sunday School classes at 10:00 A.M. are provided for all ages. Children and young people participate in Youth Group on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.

Educational and Cultural activities provide a rich variety of offerings that emphasize family participation and sharing. Lectures include topics on literature, science, religion, space, government, history, politics, art, interior design, current events, and travel.

Music is an important part of Assembly life in worship services and in other programs. Concert artists, choirs, instrumentalists, and musical groups are presented during the season. Drama is provided by troupes from near and far sometimes offering opportunities for participation. Arts and Crafts programs are available for various age groups.
